The Story
Designed by Juslin Maunula for Finarte, the Akaatti (Agate) wool rug is made from soft hand-tufted wool with cotton backing. The luxurious wool rug has beautiful pleat-like tufted texture creating an interesting surface for this graphic rug.
The Akaatti (Agate) rug got its inspiration for composing colour areas and shapes from the work of colour theorist Josef Albers and Architect Carlo Scarpa's design language.

Care instructions
For general care, we recommend gentle vacuum cleaning on a regular basis (use a vacuum cleaner without a brush head for a gentle vacuum cleaning without disturbing the fibres of the rug). Excess material is a natural occurrence and will decrease over time. Remove excess materials using gentle vacuum settings. For cleaning stains or spots, we recommend professional dry cleaning. Avoid cleaning with water, as this damages the rug.
